Sōnen EP

'Sōnen' is a Japanese term meaning 'belief through imagination', where thoughts and image creation are powers that can create reality. The Summer of 2011 will not only see some exciting Ayota live performances, but also the release of the 'Helicopter Cuts' LP on Third Ear Records. In anticipation, Primaudial Records are proud to present a fresh EP from Ski Oakenfull's Ambient Electronic project, Ayota. 'Hashya Melodies' and 'Aichi Expo' are two brand new tracks, the former being inspired by Ski's travels around Japan. Both feature the sensuous vocals of Chihiro Butterfly, who is from the recently disaster struck town of Sendai. 'Sōnen' from Ayota's first 'Ambient Works' LP has been revisited with a more club friendly edit, and finally 'All Gone' and 'Centrair' were recorded live at Nick Luscombe's Flomotion night last year.
